About

Minhee Kang earned her BFA in Textiles from the Rhode Island School of Design and her MA in Sculpture from the Royal College of Art. Currently, she is a full-time PhD student at the School of Art, Design, and Media, Nanyang Technological University, honored as a recipient of the Provost Graduate Award. Her practice-led research spans across the domains of fine art, philosophy, design, science, and technology, exploring the atmospheric and durational experience of interactive data. Her vision involves spatializing and thereby humanizing digital connections, integrating all her long-term artistic interests in observing ephemeral and transient effects present in space: the silent movements of the air, natural light, shadow, or a subject’s heartbeat and breath—constantly changing and in motion.
